Spatial Sphere presents an abstract, spatial composition in which a sphere takes centre stage, caught within a sunken square. Both the sphere and the square seem to be built up from softly flowing, almost liquid planes of colour that run into one another. The colours range from pastel green, pink and lilac to warm tones such as salmon, ochre and light purple, giving the whole a dreamlike and organic character.
The background consists of a mosaic-like pattern of irregular forms, as though the surface were built up from scaled or broken fragments. This texture reinforces the sense of depth and movement. At the edges of the square and around the sphere, subtle deformations are visible, as though the forms were under pressure or slowly melting into one another.
The whole evokes associations with a surrealist landscape or an abstract universe in which solid forms become fluid. The painting balances between order (the geometric square-and-sphere structure) and chaos (the undulating, irregular fields of colour), producing a hypnotic and contemplative presence.
