About this work

Emerging Sphere presents an abstract, almost cosmic composition with a strong effect of depth. At the centre floats a spherical form, as though coming forward out of the canvas. This sphere is built up from flowing, overlapping planes of colour in vivid tones such as green, yellow, pink, blue and orange. The colours seem to melt into one another and to move, evoking a sense of rotation and energy.

Around the central sphere a similar pattern of colourful, organic forms repeats itself, but flatter and more diffuse, as though the surroundings were an echo of the centre. The soft transitions and transparent layers give the whole a luminous, almost liquid presence. The painting balances between order and chaos: the sphere forms a clear focal point, while the surrounding colours create a dynamic, pulsing background. The whole can be experienced as an abstract rendering of energy, consciousness or an inner core brought to life through movement and colour.
