Square of Light

About this work

Square of Light presents an abstract, symmetrical composition in which geometry, light and colour come together in an almost hypnotic whole. At the centre lies a square that seems to be built up from folded, layered planes, as though made of glass or polished metal. From the midpoint fine lines radiate outwards, evoking a strong sense of depth and rotation.

The colours are intense and saturated: deep reds and magentas at the heart contrast with cool blue, turquoise and purple at the edges. Yellow and green accents provide points of light that make the whole glow. The background consists of overlapping, fan-like forms and grid structures recalling beams of light, reflections or digital networks. The painting balances between order and movement: the crisp symmetry and the square frame give stability, while the undulating lines and transparent layers suggest continuous dynamism. The whole evokes associations with technology, energy and inner reflection, as though one were looking at a visual rendering of a concentrated force or an abstract consciousness.
