Concentrated Motion

Concentrated Motion presents a powerful, abstract composition that turns on colour, movement and concentration. At the centre stands a large, spherical structure built up from a regular pattern of circles. This sphere appears three-dimensional and radiates energy outwards. The sphere is divided into clear segments of colour: intense red, warm orange, fresh green and deep blue. These colours run into one another and are reinforced by a diagonal fall of light that gives the form extra depth. The circular patterns change subtly in size and density, creating an optical effect that lets the sphere breathe and move.

The background repeats the circular motif but fades towards the edges into darker tones, so that the central form comes forward even more strongly. The whole recalls a cosmic object, a turning planet or a concentrated source of energy. The painting evokes feelings of balance and urgency at once: harmony between colours and forms, but also a certain tension, as though everything were coming together in one decisive moment. The work invites longer looking and the discovery, each time, of new patterns and relationships between colour and form.
