Spherical Illusion

Spherical Illusion presents a powerful, almost hypnotic composition of perfectly ordered dots that together create the illusion of a sphere. At the centre an intense yellow core radiates, passing gradually into warm orange and red, and finally fading to purple at the edges. This gradation of colour gives the impression of light pulsing from the inside outwards. The dots are evenly placed, but through subtle shadow and curvature they seem to move across a round form coming forward. This creates a strong sense of depth, as though you were looking at a sun, a source of energy or a moment fixed in time. The work balances between crisp geometry and optical illusion.

Emotionally the painting feels both calming and intense: the regularity of the pattern gives structure and control, while the vivid colours and the glowing centre evoke tension and energy. The whole suggests themes such as time, focus, concentration and captured movement — as though everything turned around that one unchanging centre. It is a work that keeps tugging at the eye: the longer you look, the stronger the impression that the image is alive, breathing and slowly in motion.
