As an artist I wanted this portrait to be a tribute to the strength, presence and artistic impact of Beyoncé. At the centre of this work stands not only the singer, but also the energy and symbolism that her music and personality represent. I have depicted Beyoncé in a moment of pure expression: singing, radiant and entirely in her element. Her open smile and powerful stance symbolise freedom, self-assurance and artistic strength. The golden light in the background reinforces this feeling and places her almost within an aura of stage glory, as though the light of the spotlights were merging with an almost mythical presence.

Bees and butterflies fly around her head and shoulders. These elements are deliberately chosen symbols. The bee refers to her nickname Queen Bey and stands for community, strength and collaboration. But it also refers to the fact that she took up beekeeping to produce honey for her daughters, Blue and Rumi, who suffer from severe allergies. Just as bees together form a strong colony, this reflects her bond with her fans and her influence in the music world. The butterflies stand for transformation, creativity and growth. They symbolise the continuous development of Beyoncé as an artist and as a person. By letting the butterflies float in her hair and around her figure, a sense of movement and liveliness arises, as though her music were filling the space.

The rich gold frame around the work reinforces the idea of an icon, a modern queen of the music world. The portrait balances between realism and symbolism: a snapshot of an artist, but at the same time a visual translation of her cultural significance. With this painting I wanted to show that Beyoncé is not only a singer, but a symbol of strength, creativity and inspiration — a contemporary queen of music who continues to move generations with her voice and her presence.

The artworks are produced using the most modern techniques and the finest quality materials. The artwork is printed on high-grade Fuji Crystal DP II Ultra HD photographic paper, permanently bonded to a 4 mm thick Alu-dibond support and protected with a 3 mm layer of high-quality Liquid Gloss® epoxy resin. This finish gives the artwork not only an intense colour and three-dimensional presence but also a refined, luxurious appearance. It also guarantees many years of durability and resistance to ultraviolet light. Where a frame or border has been applied to the work, it is integrated within the artwork itself. The gold frame or border is integrated within the artwork and is therefore not present as a physical frame.
