Spherical Illusion

About this work

Spherical Illusion presents a powerful, almost hypnotic composition of perfectly ordered dots that together create the illusion of a sphere. At the centre an intense yellow core radiates, passing gradually into warm orange and red, and finally fading to purple at the edges. This gradation of colour gives the impression of light pulsing from the inside outwards. The dots are evenly placed, but through subtle shadow and curvature they seem to move across a round form coming forward.
