About this work

This artwork is a field of tension between order and movement. It has a crisp, almost architectural foundation: lines, grids and geometric forms recalling technical drawings or industrial structures. This rational underlayer forms the framework within which the work is allowed to unfold. The powerful diagonals cut through the image and bring dynamism, direction and energy. They deliberately break through the stability of the grid and create a sense of progression and rhythm.
