Magenta Bloom

About this work

Magenta Bloom presents an abstract, flower-like explosion of colour and movement. From the centre an intense purple-magenta heart radiates outwards, surrounded by layers of blue and turquoise tones recalling overlapping petals or feathers. The brush-like structures seem caught in a turning motion, giving the work a strong sense of energy and depth. The colours flow into one another and are partly transparent, creating a soft, almost velvety effect.
