Painted Woodland

About this work

In this painting, I present a lively, dynamic forest landscape centred on colour and energy. Slender trunks form a rhythmic network of vertical lines, while loosely spreading branches guide the gaze through the woods. Warm autumn yellow, orange and red mingle with cool blue, turquoise and purple, giving the forest an almost iridescent glow. The leaves seem to vibrate with colour, as though the landscape were constantly moving.
