About this work

In this artwork I paint a tribute to Stevie Wonder, an artist who does not see music but feels it deep within. I have depicted him at the moment when everything comes together: voice, rhythm and emotion. The headphones and microphone stand for his direct connection with music, while the butterflies around him symbolise freedom, hope and the joy his songs spread across the world.
